This course is ideal for a member or organisation that is likely to find them taking charge of a first aid emergency or assisting a qualified First Aider. Although not a compulsory requirement, Health & Safety executive recommends this course for those who are ‘appointed’ to take charge of first aid provision if the number of employees and occupational risks are low.
This Emergency First Aid course is designed to offer essential basic skills and knowledge required to administer emergency first aid at work until someone more qualified is available to take charge of the situation.
What tests will I undertake?
A number of Theory & Practical sessions will take place throughout the day.
What will I need to bring on this course?
You will not need to bring anything on this course.
Do I need any previous experience?
No previous experience is required as full basic training will be given.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, a certificate of training Emergency First Aid will be issued to all that pass this course. This will last for 3 years.
How long does the course last?
The course will last a full day (6 hours)
How many delegates can be trained in 1 session?
Maximum of 12 delegates
