Is your access equipment safe?

The Health & Safety Executive has stated: "As part of the regulations, duty holders must ensure: Equipment for work at height is properly inspected and maintained;"

Our on-site ladder safety inspection service cover the inspection of all access equipment on your premises, from general ladders and steps to machine stairways, scaffold and work platforms.

Let us take away the worry for you and carry out our on-site access equipment surveys as we do for many companies like Walkers Snack Foods, Warburtons Bakeries, Silentnight Beds, Speedibake, Princes Soft Drinks, Dairy Crest, Nestle Waters, Heineken Brewery, Premier Foods, Stateside Foods, Allied Bakeries, Express Gifts and many Hospitals, Schools, Police and Local Authorities.

If all your items are in one location, we can carry out inspections on up to 50 items in one day. If items are scattered around the site the ladder inspection may take longer.

Why choose Browns Ladders to carry out your inspections?

  • We have an experienced team of inspectors and as a company have been carrying out ladder inspection since 1997.
  • Browns Ladders are the only Company within the UK that offers a full package! We provide on site ladder inspections and at your request carry out repairs on any damaged items. Therefore any ladders or steps that may fail on the inspection could be repaired and returned to use the same day with the least amount of interruption to work as possible.
  • Any new items purchased from Browns Ladders will be delivered to your site already tagged and added to your ladder register.
  • Inspections are carried out either at 3, 4, or 6 monthly intervals, depending on frequency of use.
  • All items will be tagged & given an individual reference.
  • You will always be informed of your next inspection date at the time of the prior inspection and our team will contact you approximately 2 weeks before as a reminder.
  • Every product that we inspect will have a 'Next Inspection Date'
  • After each inspection a report will be sent via email clearly showing the status of each item and what took place on the inspection.
